GUIDELINES / SUBMISSIONS

Behemoth Biennial literary magazine invites submissions across a spectrum of creative forms, including poetry, fiction, non-fiction, art, comic strips and comic books. In addition to writing, we welcome photography, original artwork, and designs featuring giant monsters for potential use as cover art given our chosen aesthetic.

While we embrace a wide range of themes and styles, we hold firm to our editorial standards and the standards established by CLMP. We do not publish works that are AI-generated, copyrighted, offensive, or discriminatory in nature, and we advocate for inclusivity and respect within our community.

Furthermore, we accept simultaneous submissions and previously published work with appropriate attribution. For fiction and non-fiction submissions, we adhere to a 5000-word limit, allowing for concise yet impactful storytelling, up to 5 pages for comic books, while poets may submit up to five poems for consideration. for additional information, please refer to our FAQs. Accepted works will be posted onto the Behemoth Magazine website on selected genre pages and compiled into an ebook pdf file filled with additional content to download at a later date.

For works being published for the first time, We retain first publication rights, after which all rights revert to the author or artist.

For our first issue, we are pleased to announce that there will be no reading fee for submissions.

We are proud to accept works written in English, Spanish, and German.
